16 Piece Laminated Ripple Handle Lock Pick Set

First and foremost the scope of my knowledge and experience related to "Lockpick Sets" is limited. This is my first set and I'm a recent student of the art. What I do have is forty years experience in manufacturing. The "Picks" demonstrate clean burr free edges. the spot weld are small without protrusions but demonstrate some slight discoloration around the welds. The "Tension Tools" also demonstrate clean edges but have bowing longitudinally along the body. This is the result of fabricating this type of material with a cold rolled temper. Not a big deal but it exists. The case is reasonably thick pliable leather or leather type material with sewn edge and a nylon or polypropylene liner. The interior has six individual slot type compartments in a cascading arrangement. I think its a good set and I'm happy with my purchase but looking back would prefer the tools to have individual compartments. That's why i gave it four stars instead of five.

I didn't really know what to expect from this set when I ordered it, but I am pleased with it. It feels good in the hand and seems pretty durable. The case is a bonus, it holds the picks and tension tools well. I would recommend this set.

This set is much better than the southord set I have. The LRC handles give good feed back. I would purchase more of the LRC handle picks. Very good pick set
