12 Piece "Classic" Lock Pick Set (2500 Series)
This set comes with 6 lock picks that are .025 inch thick. They have undergone a secondary finishing process like most of our tools to smooth and round all edges. The 6 color-coded turning tools come in 2 widths and 3 different thickness. The shorter tension tools allow for insertion into a key-way at the center (or top) of the plug and should not interfere with the #1 pin. The long leg turning tool is used at the edge (or bottom) of the plug. Measurements:
- Red .030” .50" leg, .125" wide and 3" long .25" leg, .094" wide and 3" long
- White .040” .50" leg, .125" wide and 3" long .25" leg, .094" wide and 3" long
- Blue .050” .50" leg, .125" wide and 3" long .25" leg, .094" wide and 3" long

Love this 12 piece set
I recently purchased this set as a backup to my primary set. This may actually be now promoted to the primary set. Most ‘overseas’ sets are cheap crap, in that the quality of the metal used is poor, the finish is even worse. This set is very well crafted, and contains the most common tools. It also has an awesome selection of the various gauge tension wrenches that the overseas kits do not. Extremely happy with this purchase. Also, extremely fast shipping and very friendly customer service. I keep coming back to this company for all my tool needs.

2500 pick set
As a newcomer to lock picking I decided on this set. It has been a good choice so far, I have unlocked a few master locks, but now I’m wishing I had some Top of Keyway tortion wrenches. Great buy for a first set, but add so TOK wrenches before you check out.

Good Pick Set
Overall a very good quality kit. It does however,need the # 7&8 BOK tension wrenches for smaller locks. The supplied TOK wrenches are only effective for flush mounted cylinders, and cannot be used for recessed mounted cylinders. There are a few companies that currently make "pry bay" type of TOK tension wrenches and I hope that Southern Specialties will make these available. The real gem here is that Southern Specialities offers several different classes of shipping. Their shipping prices are the best of all the lock pick distributors, period. I will be buying more. 12 Piece Euro Lock Pick Set
Very good set but could use some some extra items.The tension wrenches could use a #7 and 8 BOK. The supplied TOK are not useful exceptl for flushed cylinders so pry bar types would much better suited for recessed cylinders. What I really wanted to commend is the shipping option offered to customers. Quality lockpick tools at extremely reasonable shipping cost. Thanks!

First Lock Pick Set
This is my first lock pick set. I bought this in addition to a clear padlock (from another site). I didn't come with any instructions but there are plenty of videos on Youtube. From my experience it is a great beginner set and would recommend them.

Great Beginner Set
I'm a novice lock picker and I decided on this as my first set. The bogota and DeForest Diamond are really great tool and the various tension wrenches allow you a lot of freedom to play around with new locks. After my first day of going on a picking spree with the locks lying around my house, my fingers began hurting a little from the thin metal being pressed into my skin, but it's totally normal and should start callousing soon so I can keep on pickin'. Overall great set and I highly recommend it for people just starting out.
