My New Go-To Picks
I picked up the Elephant Trunks set from Southern Specialties and was genuinely impressed. The build quality and finish are excellent, and the variety of three different sizes for each profile gives a lot of flexibility. The handles are extremely comfortable, making longer picking sessions easier on the hands. I originally bought them just to see how Southern Specialties compared, and they’ve matched or exceeded some of the more expensive brands I own. I’d recommend these to both beginners and experienced pickers alike. I’m already planning to buy more picks from them in the future.

Elephant Trunks
These picks are really nicely put together. The handles feel good in the hand and are comfortable for longer picking sessions. With 3 different thicknesses, the Trunks will work in most locks. Small little 'dimple' in the tip helps find the pin and keep you in place while you work the pin into a set. The Elephant Trunks should be a part of any EDC set.

I was most pleasantly surprised at the fit and excellent finish and the first tier material of this product. I carry the 16 & 20 in my EDC. These picks work wonderfully on small pointed pins. I can't wait until this manufacturing process migrates to more pick stiles. I love these picks!

No more slipping off the pin!
I use the 25 almost exclusively, but they all have the same shape. The end of the trunk is exceptional at 'holding on' to pins of all kinds-especially those with 'points' that other hooks fall off of.
